Fun at the Zoo

This post was supposed to come a while ago since we actually went to the zoo a couple weeks before Dominic was born, but then we were blessed with our little guy coming early and therefore we had to break our chronological order ;). So, here’s a little detour back to the beginning of October.

We took Jessica to the Sacramento Zoo and she had such a great time! And of course, we just loved watching her experience the zoo for her first time.

There was a mary-go-round there and  Jessica went on two times in a row she loved it so much!

She kept looking up and all around to try and figure out how it worked.

Here she is looking at parrots and trying to copy the sounds they were making.

…and of course clapping for them was a must!

The Chimpanzees were one of her favorites.

Grandma hugs!

This was a lot of fun ;)! Jess actually enjoyed slowing down for a bit and sticking her head through the hole of the baby Kangaroo.

My man’s arm span is about as big as a Bald Eagle. I always forget how big their wing span is!

Water Break!

I think this was the last family picture we took before Dominic was born. Little did we know that I’d only be pregnant for two more weeks!

And that was a little bit of our zoo trip!
